Spandau Ballet - Gold - video n lyrics

Spandau Ballet - Gold - Lyrics

Thank you for coming home
I'm sorry that the chairs are all worn
I left them here I could have sworn
these are my salad days
slowly being eaten away
just another play for today
oh but I'm proud of you, but I'm proud of you
there's nothing left to make me feel small
luck has left me standing so tall
gold
always believe in your soul
you've got the power to know
you're indestructible
always believe in, because you are
gold
glad that you're bound to return
there's something I could have learned
you're indestructible, always believe in
after the rush has gone
I hope you find a little more time
remember we were partners in crime
it's only two years ago
the man with the suit and the pace
you know that he was there on the case
now he's in love with you, he's in love with you
love is like a high prison wall
but you could leave me standing so tall
gold
always believe in your soul
you've got the power to know
you're indestructible
always believe in, because you are
gold
glad that you're bound to return
there's something I could have learned
you're indestructible, always believe in
(musical interlude)
for love is like a high prison wall
and you could leave me standing so tall
Gold
always believe in your soul
you've got the power to know
you're indestructible
always believe in, because you are
gold
Glad that you're bound to return
There's something I could've learned
you're indestructible
always believe in

Spandau Ballet's Gary Kemp masterclass at the British Music Experience

Spandau Ballet's Gary Kemp will be doing a masterclass at the British Music Experience under London’s O2 Dome on 28 Mar, which will including the acoustic performance classic films and a Q & a session with the man himself.

Gary will also read excerpts from his 2009 autobiography ‘I Know This Much: From Soho to Spandau’.

Gary said, “Songwriting in the UK is something we should be proud of, to get the chance to talk at the BME amongst the years of history gathered there will be a very proud moment. The exhibition shows the history of British music, something that I am very honoured to have been a part of for well over thirty years”.
